it is an incredible experience for an American architect to stay in a historic palace right next to the main Corso of Vicenza. It’s a great building with a lot of history and some wonderful things to learn and you’re right near everything else. What a pleasure.

We could not figure out how to turn on the heat. We are only there for a couple of days, and it was just starting to get cold in the winter, but it would’ve been nicer to be a little warmer.

"Living in a palace."

It was a great experience. Nice handling of our stay, UNESCO listed palace, large apartment.

Not a minus, but… Furniture was minimalist for a palace. We spent a fair bit of time discussing how we would make the most of the space. More seriously, not enough hot water for 4 people.

Staying in a Palladio Palazzo (wasn't expecting the former), the personality of our apartment (full of archiitectural drawings).

Bathroom in Apt 1 could do with an update.

The history and the location are fabulous. The sleep was great.

We wish there had been a way to turn in the towels daily A curtain in the sitting room window as it looks over the courtyard would add some privacy

The host was absent and quite uninterested - so many things she didn’t bother to explain. Several problems with the bathroom . She came when I called but didn’t fix the bath handle and it fell right off again .

Perfect location, very nice apartment .... BUT:

.... outside next to the apartment wall, just maybe 2 metres from where your heads are when laying in bed, there are 3 huge pipes cooling/ventilating 3 shops located in the neighboring house. They're running all night long, in varying levels of noise and loudness - and definitely disturbing far too much to be tolerable. So ... if you're used to sleeping on a construction site - or deaf ..... no problem. Else ..... not recommendable, at all. Complaining to the owner was of no perceptible use, BTW.

The only thing that was a little difficult for us was bathing in the shower/tub but it may not be an issue for younger people
