Palazzo Valmarana Braga

This is not a hotel. It is more like airbnb. I only found out that this was an apartment when I got there. Once the surprise was over, I liked it.

The apartment is not easy to reach. You need to take an elevator to the roof top, then walk over to another part of the building. It's complicated, but you can get used to it. If you have difficulty walking or climbing stairs you better not stay here.

A stunning historic building with views of the mountains and rooftops of Vicenza. The location of the palazzo is fantastic, just off Vicenza's famous avenue in the centre of the city. The space within the apartment itself is stunning. High ceilings, lots of light. The sound of the city and rushing swallows as they duck and dive outside is mesmerising.

Position and historical location and association. Excellent mattress.

Furnishing and kitchen appliances somewhat spartan

Fantastic original Palladian villa in the heart of Vicenza. Owned by descendants of the original owners, now the managing owner is a heritage architect who continues to restore and improve the villa. We were very fortunate to be able to meet her and she gave us many insights into the history, design and now restorations. We had the apartment on the second floor that overlooks both the street and the inner courtyard; highly recommend that apartment.

The kitchenette was a bit small; would have been difficult to prepare a full meal, but perfectly fine for our three-day stay.

Fantastic location, beautiful rooms, antique furniture lots of space. We parked at Fogazzo 27 euros for nearly 3 days OK. Francesca was quick yo help out, recommend weekend market and be helpful.

Loved staying in a building designed by Palladio.

Heat was iffy.

Wonderful to stay in a Palladian Palazzo which is tastefully furnished. Francesca was a responsive and helpful host. The apartment of Luigi was quiet and private a real haven after a full day’s sightseeing. Most central to the main attractions of Vicenza.

The apartment was very nice, well located and perfect for two friends. Also, check in was easy and Francesca was very helpful. If we come back to Vicenza we will definitely stay there again.
