The people are the best ♥️ best place to meet new people, always something to do ‼️don’t come here if you don’t like party vibes‼️ (I loved it) Big kitchen to cook and gather together, also a bbq space at the back

Beds could have a better mattress!! Also not very clean

The location is good, and there is a bus arranged by the property to Cable Beach.

The bed wasn’t a real mattres, just a thin pad where you could feel the metal frame underneath. I woke up with back pain every day. The common areas were also not well maintained and felt dirty overall. Would not recommend unless major improvements are made.

So many wonderful people with so many events on. Everyone was very welcoming and you always had someone to go party with Staff were friendly and easy to talk with If you want a party its fantastic but if you don't then don't stay as it is loud from the bar next door Showers and toilets are standard, nothing special but nothing wrong with them

No real communal area other than kitchen which was full of people and loud from cooking/tv/conversations Never felt particularly clean, however my room was supposed to get cleaned on Tuesdays and I left before then My bed wasn't very comfortable, pillow was large and bumpy (used towel instead), metal bar running through middle of the bed and air con pumping on me all night and they only give you a sheet A lot of long term backpackers who all know each other now, often a bit lax with locking doors, cleaning up after themselves etc

I didn't like it at all. It's the worst hostel I've been to in Australia.

The rooms are horrible, the beds don't have a real mattress, they have a kind of super thin mattress so much so that you can feel the iron of the bed in the middle of your back.The air conditioning is so old that it leaks all day long. The kitchen is very small for the number of people in the hostel, and it is also super dirty and messy all the time. I stayed at another hostel in the area and it was truly a luxury compared to this one, and the price per week didn't change that much.

Mattress are inhumanly thin. It felt like I was snapped into half while laying down. The piece of iron beam of the bunk made my lower back and hip screamed pain whole night, yet I had to minimise twist and turn as I don’t wanna disturb others. Also I was told by roommates that they had to do the cleaning themselves when they had just moved in.
