"Great little cottage but the management company was difficult to deal with."

The property was very clean and well appointed. The location was good being within walking distance to the city.

We arrived to find the bins out on the street and full of rubbish. The management company ,LAbode, made it very clear that we would be fined if we left rubbish behind. The communication with the management company,while frequent, was brusque to the point of rudeness. We will not book a property again, which is managed by this company.

"Perfection plus at this delightfully renovated miners cottage."

There was a code to get in the door and they even included a video in the introductory package to show how to use it. The cottage was in a great location and has been renovated really beautifully. The bedrooms and bathroom were a good size and there were plenty of utensils, saucepans and pots, plates etc to use in the kitchen. There is a delightful garden outside that leads up to another level where there is a table and chairs to enjoy the view and have a coffee etc.

"Cottage is beautiful but the agents ruined the vibe."

The location was perfect for what we needed. The cottage was lovely inside and out. All amenities were good.

I have used booking.com for many years and never once had an issue. From the moment I booked Bluestone Cottage, the agent LAbode started spamming me with emails, I’ve counted 20 to date. They also took $500 from my credit card (which I had to supply the details otherwise they were canceling my booking) even thought I had already paid. They wanted lots of details about all the guests and then they had the audacity to send me a rude message saying I had to put the bins out on the street for bin day Monday otherwise they were going to charge us for leaving excess rubbish. We had to hump the bins down the slippery stone steps (we are all elderly) and it wasn’t even our rubbish as we had just arrived! I was disgusted by the impersonal and abrupt way they addressed me via email. If I ever book through booking.com again and LAbode is the agent I will cancel it immediately.
