Riad Shajara

Struttura fantastica con camere molto spaziose, pulite e scenografiche. Tenuta molto bene. Colazione abbondante e ottima, servita con buona flessibilità nella mattinata.

La posizione molto comoda per spostarsi sia a piedi che in taxi. Le stanze erano bellissime, molto caratteristiche. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo chiesto la colazione a diversi orari e ci hanno sempre accontentati. Colazione buona e abbondante.

Avrei preferito avere un mini frigo in stanza per avere l’acqua fresca.

What a gorgeous riad! We stayed here for 3 nights for our final days in Morocco & we picked such a good place to wind down. The location was perfect - close to everything, but far enough from the loud streets of the medina. The riad itself is so calming & the smell was lovely. Staff were all super friendly, the housekeeping staff did a brilliant job of keeping everywhere clean. Our room was beautiful, exactly as the pictures. Breakfast was delicious! Excellent value for money.

I arrived to stay with my Moroccan partner and as we were unable to show marriage papers which they asked for we were not allowed to stay…They were rude and incredibly judgemental. The dirty looks from staff did not go unnoticed and we felt very uncomfortable. I was advised that I would receive a refund for my 2 night stay but when requesting the refund on cancelling my booking it was denied by the property. We had not had this issue travelling around Morocco with any other Riad’s or accomodation we had stayed in. I respect their personal views and choices but this was not a reason to decline my requested refund nor a reason to be so rude.

Riad Shajara is a perfect place to stay for discovering the medina by foot. It's a lovely riad with very nice and serviceminded staff and a lovely breakfast, uniquely made every morning.

De gastvrijheid, locatie en hygiëne. Het ontbijt was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Alles klopte! In het bijzonder bedankt aan de lieve meneer die ons elke avond thuis liet voelen door de deur voor ons open te maken en een Marokkaanse muntthee te maken.
