Montagu Manor

The breakfast was really adorable, and changed my overall review of Montagu Manor to be more positive. The owner served us himself and was very attentive and agreeable.

The room we stayed in was cramped, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the bathroom had no privacy or ventilation. the door between the bedroom and bathroom was more of a screen, so my partner and I would take turns waiting outside while the other was busy doing their business in the bathroom. I know this is an old building and the room retained a lot of the old charm, but there are some modernizations that must be made for comfort.

Fantastiskt charmigt boende i ett gammalt hus. Otroligt generösa värdar som förgyllde frukosten med musik av Yves Montand från LP-skivor. Rum och matsal var tidsenligt inrett och servicen kunde inte vara bättre.

Rummet saknade luftkonditionering men det fanns fläkt i taket.

Ein gemütliches altes Haus, ein bißchen in die Jahre gekommen. Die Inhaber haben Lust an Gestaltung und ein ganz individuelles kleines Refugium geschaffen. Alte Möbel, Sammelerstücke...Abgeschlossener Parkplatz. Kühlschrank, alles da. Unübertroffen: das Frühstück und die sympathischen Gastgeber. Ganz ruhig und trotzdem nah am hübschen Zentrum gelegen.

Der Tag war sehr heiß gewesen, der Raum brauchte lange, um abzukühlen....

Un accueil très chaleureux dans une maison décorée avec un charme retro. Sans oublier le délicieux petit-déjeuner ́. Je recommande .

Het ontbijt was prima verzorgd.
