Central location, value for money, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast included. The staff went out of their way to make my birthday celebration special with carrot cake and sparkling wine waiting for me in my room on arrival. Highly recommend Montagu Manor, we will be back.

A bit small, but adequate

Thank you Elaine and Wikkie! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay with you. The breakfast experience was totally unexpected and what a fantastic treat it was! Next level, to be certain! Our room was comfortable and we loved the olde worlde Victorian theme. We hope to visit you again sometime in the future.

The location isn't perfect as the magistrales court is just across the road, which unfortunately draws some unsavory characters to the area. However, this is all forgotten from the moment one enters the property.

We booked and paid through hotels.com - although the hotel has reviews the owner claims he does not use hotels.com. He asked us to pay for the night after we had already paid and have a receipt of payment. The owner asked us to pay again, although we had already paid.
