"New owners trying hard "

The building & rooms need some redecorating but the new owners Gary & Julie who just bought it over in Sept 2019 are very pleasant and are working hard to keep things going since Covid hit. The check-in & breakfast experience was Covid compliant. For a B&B <£100/night it is ok but believe they can be better when business picks up again post-Covid.

"Sub-par"

So this was a very strange experience. The owners were nice enough. The husband was a very lovely chap indeed. They were quick to help if asked. There is no guaranteed parking. First night was difficult to park and second night we had to park on the road about a mile away in a permit zone

"gem of a hotel "

Nice quiet room, friendly welcome and nothing too much trouble Covid regulation talk on check in which was informative and helpful Will definitely stay again when next in the area
