Glendower

Great location for us, parking right outside and bonus of an EV charger. Our hosts were lovely, a warm welcome with coffee and cake, our family room was spacious and well equipped for us, we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and a lovely special of eggs benedict which was perfect. Great value for money and we would definitely stay again.

The Glandower was in a perfect location, walking distance to the princess Theatre and Harbour. We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Torquay. The staff were lovely and very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast has to be one of the best we’ve ever had.

Everything was great no problems at all.

I expected to like staying here as I had great memories from staying at the Glendower 35 years ago. Very interesting to return and see changes. Really good stay overall. All very enjoyable and I have no problem making a strong recommendation to stay here. My hosts were great. Nice room, good breakfasts. Glendower is very close to the railway station which is helpful. However that means you might be tempted to catch the train to Paignton and eat there (restaurants a lot cheaper). Recommend the Thai restaurant near Paignton station.

Breakfast was wonderful!!

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, the room I stayed in was clean and had everything that I needed. The location was very close to the train station and the breakfast was exceptional, there was a great choice to choose from.

The breakfast was cold fresh to order and there was also a good selection of cereal, fruit and juices along with tea and coffee options. Room was clean bed was comfy. Would highly recommended. It’s about a 8 minute walk to the beach.
