The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious with a good storage area for our luggage. The breakfasts were nice. The morning by staff were helpful and knowledgeable. It was handy that a parking spot was available. Lovely pool.

We should have look at the map more closely as we thought it was adjacent to the old city. In the past end though it was handy for our trip because we rented a car and the location was good for all the main highways. We were surprised when our room had no proper window. For non Latin travellers this is a big negative. The management quickly addressed this with an upgraded room which was much appreciated.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms with plenty of hanging space. Also there was a good sized desk and a comfortable chair. The bathroom was well equipped. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was exceptionally good. There is a little pool in a pretty courtyard where you can take a cooling dip. Sunbeds and towels provided. The hotel is not in the historic centre of Oaxaca but it is an easy, interesting downhill walk to all the main things you’d want to visit. There’s also a very reasonable Nando-type-but-Mexican-food restaurant right next door and a big pharmacy / supermarket right opposite. Also a HSBC bank and cash machine a few metres away.

I do think this place needs to install better windows / soundproofing to the hotel’s bar restaurant / street side. My ground floor room was not too bad as there was only a small frosted window into the reception area, however a colleague’s first floor room overlooked the bar, that overlooks the street, and they struggled to sleep with the music and traffic noise. The hotel did do their best to keep the music volume down but didn’t help with the street noise.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was big and delicious. There are many chain restaurants nearby and a farmacia opposite. The staff arranged taxis for us when we wanted to go places which were always very reliable. The hotel is very pretty and well decorated and the small pool area is a nice place to sit and read during the day.

It's important to be aware of the noise from the road (which starts at about 6am) and the hotel bar music (which stops at 11pm). Rooms at the front of the building are quite loud and dont have much natural light. I used noise cancelling headphones to fall asleep which worked fine for me. And although I didn't get sunlight, the room lights are very good.

Super comfortable bed and pillows. Water, lovely smelling toiletries, fluffy towels and bathrobes provided. Staff at reception were very kind and polite. Breakfast was really nice. Everything was extremely clean. Loved the how the room and bathroom were designed and decorated. Good aircon.

Sleepingbuds are provided, but bring some silicone ones if your a light sleeper, street noise from cars can be heard, although from midnight to about 6am it's calmer. Coffee and juice should both be included at breakfast.

Hotel it’s so pretty and location strategically

1, air conditioning wasn’t working, the gave us a fan instead 2. Tv remote control wasn’t working good due to tv position. also was so confused 3. Breakfast was included and on Sunday was terrible, stiff , hard unflavored tortillas ( pic attached ), we had to let the staff know about it, We are really sorry for the staff, they are very helpful and polite.

Location was great, supermarkets, restaurants and pharmacies nearby and a nice 1,5 mile stroll to central square, markets etc. Very cool art, nice and cozy courtyard with warm pool (rare in Oaxaca), rooms were modern and clean. Definitely matched the expectations and great value to money. Breakfast was also healthy and good (a la carte!).

Only downside I would say was that even though the place has a very beautiful restaurant and bar, it is not open practically at all. It only serves breakfast for limited hours and in you can't even buy drinks day time to chill by the pool. It only opens for couple of hours in the evening for drinks. That being said, drinks and cocktails were awesome and very nice bartender.

Everything, specially the people. Excellent location.

The bathroom is a little uncomfortable since they didn't have a nice shelf or small furniture to leave the clean clothes to dress after a shower. We needed to change inside the bath since we were four at the same bedroom!
