15 min walk into the city centre - not an issue as it’s a nice walk but may be harder to access for some

The fact that we paid for a room that we didn’t even get and the fact that the checkout time is all wrong on booking.com versus in real life and the staff was RUDE ABOUT SOMETHING THAT’S NOT EVEN OUR FAULT!!!!! Y’ALL NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER!!!!! I also hated that there’s no way to communicate with the staff real time because there were no phones in the rooms and you had to walk to the front desk. Very disappointing experience overall to what should have been an amazing experience in an amazing city.

Staying just out of the bustling part of Oaxaca City Centre, with lots still to do in the local area, Casa de Arte was the perfect spot for a restful stay. A hidden pool and hammock (in room) allowed for a relaxing stay, the breakfast provided was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever been provided! Although being told it can be a noisy stay, we didn’t notice any such thing and most of the close nightlife had died down around 10pm, friendly staff and a place that definitely felt safe! Shops and amenities are close by! Water provided in room with free refills saves any traveller in Mexico the relief of purchasing plastic bottles! A really enjoyable stay!
