Friendly ladies working there! Great breakfast on the balcony with a view. The room is clean and spacious. The bathroom is shared with other rooms but it didn't make any inconvenience. Everything was just perfect.

The service level was outstanding! On our arrival night, the kind owner took us with her car to the only open shop, so we could buy some water. She kindly prepared the sheets according to my request (I'm allergic) and cooked the most delicious scrumbled eggs in my life for the breakfast. If I could choose - I would stay the whole week in her appartment. It was conveniently located on the slope overlooking beautiful Mindelo Bay, so at the sunrise we had a magnificent view on the whole city. Mindelo itself is a beautiful and very well kept (clean streets and nice buildings) city with fantastic beach. The room we stayed in was spscious, equipped with all necessary furniture, and comfortable mattresses. We had a shared bathroom next door - very clean and also well equipped. Appartment consisted of 4 (if I'm correct) rooms, all booked, still bathroom was spotlessly clean and corridors quiet. We could use the kitchen and the owner kindly suggested we make ourselves some tea on the arrival night. In the morning she was already around 6 a.m. in the kitchen, preparing ddlicious breakfast. I got my super tasty scrumbled eggs and I saw she also adjusted to other guests' wishes, preparing for instance special porridge for one family. The breakfast was worth a five star hotel: all was fresh (buns from the baker), delicious (she even added some self made chocolate spread on the cakes served), various (vegetables, several sorts of bread and buns as well as joghrurts, differrent müsli and flakes, jams, fruits, etc.) and in sufficient amounts. Also delicious coffee and tea variety made my day! Absolutely unique place of the appartment was the terrace where we ate our breakfast enjoying beautiful morning view on the city and the Mindelo Bay. This is one of my top stays so far. I wish the kind owner and her family all the best and success! You're doing a great job! ❤️

Beautiful house and nice staff

Great value for money, friendly and attentive staff, a simple but comfortable room with breakfast included. A large balcony overlooking the city was amongst the highlights. I enjoyed the location too: a walkable distance from the city (I've done all sightseeing and going out in the evening on foot) but quiet and relaxing as it is not in the very centre. The owner, Katy, was also lovely. I would stay again!

The room was good and located in a good position to explore Mindelo. The breakfast we had was good.

The room was quite small and without bathroom (there is a common for the entire floor). The room was extremely hot and without A/C or some ventilation and never cleaned. The quality also of the beds and mattress was not so good also. We asked for an early breakfast and they tell us that there were something in the fridge (we did not find) and very few stuffs on the table. The wifi connection was quite slow.
