Katie, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The shared bathroom and common areas were always kept clean. A staff member was around all day if we had any questions or needed help with anything. Breakfast (included) was good with some variety. One morning they even prepared cacupha, which was delicious! The location is good - just a short walk to the center where everything is located.

The WiFi signal didn't reach our room at all so we had to sit in the common area where it worked. If you have a SIM card with data, then it is not a big problem. There is a central air-shaft that most of the rooms share so if your neighbor is being loud, you can hear it (bring earplugs if you are sensitive to the noise).

Basic place that could do with a little TLC. Needs to keep on top of repairs. But overall OK for a night or two.

The view is nice and the breakfast was plentiful. The room was adequate. The host was amazing and friendly, I felt very welcome. She answered all my questions and was quite helpful.

The host is waiting for a foam pad to improve the mattress. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on. It is a longer walk from the bedroom to the bathroom than I would like.

Katy, the owner is very friendly and speaks good English and can help you with your questions. I stayed twice (in between I was on Santo Antao). Big room with good shower, nice breakfast on the balcony. It is 15mins to the city, 20mins to the ferry (a little bit more coming back, as you have to walk up).

The house is very comfortable and located a maximum 20 minute walk from anything you'd want to visit in Mindelo - just bear in mind you'll be walking uphill to come back in the evening. The room is huge is very comfortable.

The photos aren't up to date and there is now a large house blocking the view of the bay. The staff didn't seem well coordinated and aren't able to speak to guests directly due to language barriers.

the breakfast was great, the owner is really nice, she comes to the residence sometimes. There is hot water avail. The room is huge! The neighborhood is nice and quiet. For the same price you can rent a room with a private bathroom but this residence is still good and well kept.

The cloth hangers in the bedroom were broken and the internet doesnt work in the bedrooms. It only works in the main living room and terrase.
