Balfour Arms

The staff were very friendly which made our short one night stop over a good experience

The room is a little tired and needs decorating, there were a few bits that could be fixed easily like the toilet roll holder and it was add real value to the experience. The TV screen images size wasnt right. But as i have said above, staff were really helpful so this is only intended to assist improving things.

Balfour Arms was in a great location as it was a 20 minute's walk to the Sea, and central to the family who we were visiting. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast. Great Value for the price we paid for 3 nights.

Bed and breakfast was what was needed and that's what we got.

The carpets could do with a clean and not sure but one of the beds may have been broken.

Late excessive noise from bar. No service of room for 3 days, ie towels, rubbish collection. Temperature control of room. From excessive to none.

Room was great and shower was amazing, didnt do breakfast as not breakfast person but everyone seemed really nice

Great staff,close to bus stop for the short journey into Sidmouth. Friendly staff,good breakfast. Big pub,no difficulty finding a table for a late drink.
