Dreadful place. Gave us a double bed after booking a twin. Member of staff initiated very unhelpful. Very loud music and noisy guests outside till after midnight.

The pub was lively and welcoming, with a reasonably priced food menu. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Only a slight negative, the rooms maybe need a little spruce up in places but this didn’t detract from the comfort, cleanliness and excellent value for money !

Everything ! The room was great, good beds & facilities. (A little tired but nothing that would spoil the stay !)

Excellent location easy to leave your car at the Balfour arms car park and walk into the town centre about 20 mins or take a bus ,stops outside the premises. Breakfast was superb lots to choose from pastries,cereals and full English there is a traditional where you can have 2 of everything or an even bigger one 3 of everything wow and it's all cooked fresh to order and nicely executed to. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable beds the on suite was large good size shower plenty of hot water to boot. There was tea and coffee facilities plenty of Nescafe coffee and quality tea bags plenty of phone charging points with free wifi which had a good signal. The room was in a pub so was expecting it to be noisier than it was but to be honest didn't really notice much so had a very nice 2 night stay. Would recommend to anyone who wants a value for money stay with excellent food in Sidmouth.
