Balfour Arms

Staff were very complementary. Breakfast was excellent, tasty not greasy good English breakfast Parking for motorcycles was good security cameras all round.

Great breakfast, good price friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed with brilliantly clean white sheets. Good food in the pub in the evening.

Difficult to park at certain times of day but we did find a place.

Very close to the town free car parking, excellent members of staff always very helpful, good breakfast.

No milk in the room when we did want a cup of tea.

Enjoyed the stay. Good value for money. Friendly bunch.

The staff made the stay. Balfour was so understaffed yet they all worked together to ensure that everyone had a positive experience. The room was clean tidy and warm Nice bedding and comfortable beds. Location is outside the main area but a lovely walk into town and across the road from a bus stop.

The room was above the band, which was loud. However we were well notified and despite the volume we only woke once Nice to hear 90s music and people having a great evening

Room was clean, beds comfortable as well as the pillows, good quality bed linen nice ensuite with soap and towels provided TV was a good spec Tea and coffee facilities were a welcome addition Breakfast was great good quality ingredients - unlimited juice, toast, jam cereals and tea and coffee

Its not that I didnt like the Balfour Arms - please bear in mind that this is a pub and so you will hear noise from downstairs and we were emailed about this prior to our arrival As the letting rooms are upstairs if anyone has a mobility issues then these rooms may not be suitable for them - we didn't have a problem

Staff were very accommodating for our very late arrive, due to delays.
