The facilities and the rooms

The service at the main restaurant, had to cancel some desert orders because they forgot some orders and some took 1hour +. Also had to leave our Breakfast to go because it wasn't prepared in time as agreed the night before. They have very limited staff to execute their offerings.

Beautiful place to relax and very quite. Villas are huge with private pool.

There is no service at the lower pool, and it is very slow service all around. Had to leave the pool area to order food and drinks. No one came to us at the main pool, and it felt like the staff were hiding. we sat there all day, and no one came to serve us odd for $470 a night resort.

Horrible

my room was simply amazing breath taking and the pool divine breakfast was nice and the driver although expensive and my only option for transport sadly from the establishment did give me a card so I could return. as this property is not walking distance. check in man was lovley and appeared to be doing multiple roles buggy drivers also lovley

that staff were not very attentive ( I dined solo and their was no one their at all and yet I had to wait for even a drink) staff were gathered around watching or looking at something on their phone . ( I do have photo) also the fact that upon arrival and even on departure my payment was being asked ( this should have been notes that it was paid ) showed them the transaction and message from them saying this) yet paper on arrival said get payment . after a big day last thing I needed . this happened on multiple occasions . ( and it wasn’t busy periods) I expected some attention seeing I was paying the price for accommodation. one breakfast the piece of bacon given looked like it was someone’s left over ( photo also taken) however this was resolved with 2 full pieces . but still puzzled . 40 mins was wait . although of course not expecting them to understand Ozzie’s accent they did not really even try or acknowledge me at all. ( 9 days prior I was at much lower prices property and treated like the queen) staff that came at night for room service were 2 lovley ladies ( I attempted to tip) they refused then rang and said they had change and I said it’s ok they can have them 10 mins later they arrived back at villa with $$ . also I was their when lads cleaned the room they left rubbbish and empty bottles in bathroom . and didn’t fill my bath salts and appeared just quite lazy. and toilet paper was needed. ( this I asked for and they returned) while seated on 🚽 I can see so many hairs and dirt amongst the rock shower ( incredible shower ) I feel terrible for writing a review but as my only luxury life stay possibly I was saddened with staff experience . The resort was amazing!!! Our room was pretty sweet! and my favorite part of the room is the bath salt LOL shoutout the to staff who kept refilling the bath salts! The staff was accommodating and caring - I say this because they offered their on-call doctor to check on my partner when they noticed he was not feeling well. We even got an ambulance to go to the hospital. I was really impressed. The package we got has breakfast included and the breakfast option is superb! The shared pool and view were also breathtaking. I'd definitely go back :') Kenran also offers a bunch of extra services such as meditation and yoga - I didn't get to do these as I didn't have time. The location was pretty scary TBH :') During the day we're out on tours but once we're back in the afternoon, we'd hire their motorbike and ride to Ubud center, it's pretty close which is good, however, since we return at night, it is very dark, and quite spooky. I wish we stayed longer to use the amenities and relaxed more!!

The stairs! We had to take 2-3 flights of stairs to get from our room to the pool/dining area for breakfast - this might be because of our room location. If you can't get a buggy to take you to reception, you'll have to go up some stairs or up a slope. There were ants in the bathtub and shower area. Far from the main road and quite dark at night if you're riding a motorbike.
