Luxury - Villa RON - Central Seminyak

Hosts Gede and Tika were fantastic - welcoming, helpful and like family! They went out of the way to ensure we were well cared for - from ensuring our hot breakfasts were all well laid out, ensuring our morning coffee was ready, making our smoothies that we requested, to quietly doing our laundry and overall daily housekeeping and for helping us figure out tourist spots. When one of our kids sprained her ankle, Gede hopped on his bike and went to the pharmacy to get a walking stick/when i left my packed painting (wrapped in a tube) behind when we checked out, Gede found it, got on his bike and came rushing to meet us as we were on way to airport!! Gede also arranged for two excellent meals by a star Chef called Mela - the food (we wanted local cuisine but she also does French and Creole food) was outstanding - and this is one experience that is a MUST DO! Must also mention Ketut who did pick up and drops to and fro airport as well as to Ubud day trip. Lovely person, helpful and cheerful. The place is well equipped - kitchen has everything one needs, large dining table, adequate tableware and cutlery. Beds are all large, comfy. All toiletries, towels, pool towels available. Bathrooms are large spacious and well laid out.

The villa could do with a bit of sprucing up as the wash basins need to be updated and a fresh coat of paint would be nice. Otherwise, well laid out and modern. The swimming pool could have been larger but we had a wonderful time in it.

The villa was clean and spacious. The master bedroom was huge. It was like the photos. The staff Gede and Tika were amazing and very helpful. The availability of spas and eateries were few but good quality.

When it rained there was no covered area to sit outside and enjoy. Maybe an awning will be good. The jacuzzi lacked power but was good.

Flights to Bali from Manila are mostly red-eye flights / off times however the property asked for our flight details and offered their car transport services if we needed to get to the Villa. The Manager, Agung, was present when we arrived at the villa after 12 midnight and he helped us get settled. From moving our luggages, to answering questions about the villa, options for breakfast and meals/restaurants, to room keys/locks. I appreciated the fact that he was not in a rush to leave and go home despite it being very early in the morning. He made sure we didn't have any other questions before he left that night/early morning when I said we are all set and ready to rest for that night. I liked that fact that they provided daily house keeping too if you wanted your rooms cleaned and towels changed. Also, it was very important for us to have a pool / jacuzzi area that had a shallow area for my nephew to stand and swim on his own as these are had to find in Bali Villas. Usually pools don't have a big & safe enough area for toddlers to move around without having an adult to hold them or a floated to keep them afloat the entire time. Second, we required a home that had indoor AC for the living room and not just the bedrooms as it is very hot in Bali and we wanted to avoid exposure so mosquitoes as much as possible. Although, it was very hot when we went during June, so the ACs in the living room struggled a little during the day when the sun was at its peak. But it was still better than nothing and completely no AC at all. It wasn't like we were sweating indoors, it just wasn't as cold as it can be when compared to the late afternoons/nights. Thank you to the kind helpful staff of our villa!

The house could use a little fixing up here and there when it comes to maintenance of say wear and tear items through the years but other than that, overall, we were happy with our stay. The first morning, we discovered that there was a leak by the kitchen bar, where you wash dishes. I reported it to Agung and they immediately addressed the problem that morning while we were out. When we couldn't turn the stove on one night, Agung had fixed the problem the following morning when he came in. I appreciate that they were able to take action and address concerns we had as soon as possible. Just a word of caution, the house has a couple of steps (up and down) which you just have to sort of be careful with when with toddlers and infants although we were fine and survived well without any mishaps. We were a party of 6 adults, 1 very active boy toddler (2 years old) and an 11 month old baby.

There was ample space for the whole family and the layout was perfect. The staff were very attentive and always seemed to be on hand to help.

Great location! It is close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The Villa is spacious, well kept and the staff is great. They were comitted to make us content with everything. Also they make a very, very good breakfast!

This Villa is in a excellent location it's very clean and to top it all off the service from Tika and Gede was top tier very helpful and they both made us feel at home.The kids especially loved them both and miss them alot already 😀

The Best Part of Our Stay – Tika & Gede! Our time at the villa was amazing, but what really made it special was the incredible service from Tika and Gede. Both were so warm, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The villa is stunning, but it’s the kindness and care from Tika and Gede that truly made our stay unforgettable. Thank you both – we already miss you!
