Amazing staff and beautiful views and nature walks

Had a very nice stay at Magical Pond. Breakfast was great. Rooms are small, but that was expected. Definitely more of a couples place, but our kids were welcomed and enjoyed their experience as well.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Magical Pond in Ruka, Finland, during the Christmas holidays. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a magical atmosphere that felt straight out of a fairy tale. The place is truly enchanting, with breathtaking nature and a warm ambiance that immediately charmed us. The hotel, intimate and cozy, offered the perfect setting for enjoying quality family time. Our two-year-old son loved playing in the snow, and the outdoor space, with stunning views of the frozen lake and snowy forests, was perfect for peaceful walks. The owners of the hotel, incredibly kind and welcoming, made a world of difference. They were always available to offer advice and little thoughtful gestures that made our stay even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home, even though we were far away from it. The rooms were very comfortable, perfectly suited to the needs of a family with a young child. We especially appreciated the impeccable cleanliness and the attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh, local products – a perfect way to start the day with energy. If you’re looking for a peaceful, magical, and authentic place to spend a memorable Christmas holiday, we highly recommend Magical Pond. It’s a place where nature, comfort, and hospitality come together to create an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to the owners for their hospitality and kindness. We can’t wait to return!

Finland is great. Views lovely. The staff were nice. We enjoyed Andy at dinner - he did a great job and was the highlight of the stay.

Instagram influencers were out in full force. Rooms are tiny and boiling hot. The underfloor heating literally made the floor lava and the room unbearably hot. No where to move in the room with our luggage. Glad we didn’t stay long. Would not go back.

Everything was perfect!! The service, the receptionists, the room... Nothing to complain about..

i was a bit dissapointed because there were no snow when we arrived but this place is just magical even with snow or not. I really enjoyed our stay, our little walk in the wilderness, the breakfast, everything was great. Hoping to come back 🫶

Overall, my experience at the Magical Pond glass cabins was unforgettable, and I can't recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a magical escape.

Nothing negative to say. Even the bathroom heated floor was amazing.

Check in staff was very cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was sufficient. Basic but enough. The igloo had a well fitted bathroom!

The Igloo was dominated by and over large odd shaped bed. There was no room for anything else, no where to put luggage, no where to sit but on the bed.
