"Perfection on a Northern Island country road."

Bay Tree Cottage is definitely in the top three of places we have ever stayed. From exceptionally warm, welcoming hosts to an exceptionally clean, comfortable living space to an exceptionally beautiful rural setting, everything about Bay Tree was excellent. Just a few minutes drive into Hillsborough, a lovely village complete with castle & stunning gardens, & a 20 minute bus ride gets you into downtown Belfast and an hour headed the other way, & you’re in Dublin. It’s a perfect spot to use as a base with numerous, easy day trips possible. Susan & Willie have spent a lot of time and effort to make the cottage feel like home & it does, the minute you walk in. Highly recommended.

the property was like being home from home & the host Susan & her husband looked after us from start to finish 5 star we will be back again. we highly recommend this lovely cottage if your visiting Royal Hillsborough or the surrounding areas.

The whole property was very clean well cared for and you can see the host does this with passion to ensure the guests have a lovely stay at the cottage. The beds were super comfy "we did not want to get up" highly recommend this property 5 star.

Very clean and well set out for 2 couples with ensuite’s for each couple. Great location, we couldn’t walk to pubs or restaurants but only a few minutes drive, Belfast an easy 20 minute drive away.

Everything about the property was first class. Quality was first class. No issues whatsoever.

Found duvet very heavy in main bedroom for time of year & had to move to single bed in 2nd room for more comfortable sleep. Also, as I use a wet shave, sink stopper in main en-suite was not working. So a little frustrating
