The Lodge Rooms

Firstly we could not find the hotel, there were no signs on the main road and when we drove down this stone lane which said foot path we come to a Grey wood hut and still no signs. When I found an open door and passed the bell and was greeted by a lady who I asked if I was in the right place. Thankfully it was and was greeted and taken to the upstairs to the room. Cobwebs and spiders everywhere in the room, shower and toilet, it’s ok if you like spiders. Has a roof Terrace which was nice and unexpected. No towels for guests. Complimentary breakfast and tea/coffee throughout the day for guests to help themselves. Overall was a nice stay but not a hotel it’s someone’s home.

Really lovely little place, the room was beautiful. The shower was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Was thrilled to find two lovely doggies there too - we played fetch for about three hours in the garden! Would return and I have recommended to friends.
