XO Hotel & Apartments

Location was perfect.

Our stay was amazing and lovely. I appreciated the size fridge that was in the hotel room and that they have microwave you can use in the rooms to heat up your food. Overall great place to stay for short or long stays.

The hotel had several positive aspects that made the stay comfortable. The 24-hour check-in was very convenient, and the staff was always friendly and ready to help with any request. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and I received two bottles of water every day, which was a nice touch. The room had a TV, fast Wi-Fi, and essential toiletries like hand soap, toothbrushes, shampoo, and shower gel. There was always hot water available. When I pointed out the stained bed sheets and towels with holes—which also had an unpleasant smell—the staff acted quickly and replaced them without hesitation. I appreciated their prompt response and professionalism.

The towels and bed sheets initially provided were not in good condition, with noticeable stains and odors. The room had no air circulation and no natural light, which made it feel a bit stuffy. The small window wasn't enough to let air in, and unfortunately, the outside grate was covered in trash. External noise was also an issue, making it difficult to sleep at times.

Great hotel, really friendly staff who speak English.

Could hear people in other rooms dragging chairs etc but that's not the hotel fault.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. English was understood well. I got a room but the view was of the next door building and their balconies - they moved me to a higher floor the next day without me asking. Free water, tea and coffee provided & housekeeping every day. The apartment was very spacious and has a washing machine, cupboard space, big kitchen with a big fridge. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. A lot of TV Channels to choose from - English channels as well. Water pressure was good, warm water and hairdryer. Quiet area and close to the beach, restaurants and coffee shops. There was a roof where you could go enjoy the view - but was not very comfortable. The building has an elevator.

The kitchen was quite dark with no natural light - there were utensils, etc. missing and most of the cutlery / kitchenware were dirty/oily - so i didn't use any of it. They did not supply dish soap. The washing machine was not clean - before and after washing my clothes, there were weird blackish papery flakes on my clothes and in the machine. I could not get rid of it. The view I had was not as I'd hoped, it was of the roof of the building next door, but at least it was better than the previous room. Overall it didn't feel very clean and I was not very comfortable because of it.

The room was clean and spacious for a solo traveller. Hot water and fast WiFi. The location of the hotel is great so it is only a 5 min. walk to the beach. Furthermore, there are some supermarktes, restaurants and cafes around. The staff was really helpful and allowed me a late check out. Also, they assisted me to order food while i was waiting in the lobby for the night train. I highly recommend this hotel.

The smell in the room. Just 2 tiny windows. It was not possible to open them. Anyway the room was not what we expected at all and a bit disappointing.
