Waterside inn Nusa Penida

Wayan was so good. He helped us with everything we need. He even dropped us to the harbour. We booked the hotel for 2 nights but we had a problem back in bali had to cancel the room for next day. He was flexible with that too. Lovely guy. Will go stay there again if i visit nusa penida again. Sumit Gurung

Located right in front of the beach, nice seating outdoors.

Room and washroom were dark and didn’t give good vibe. Internet connectivity was also poor. Couldn’t work on wifi but had to use my mobile Internet. Switches and sockets were not working. Hotel location is far from harbour and there’s not much to explore nearby unless you rent a cab or scooters

Filthy, grubby, no complimentary tea, bottled water, fridge. Non existent. A choice of scramble eggs, or bananna pancake , 2 dry pieces of toast and coffee. That's it!!! Towels as hard as a scrubbing brush, stain marks or rust marks. Scum in bathroom on walls...leaking water from w/hand basin. Open vents, mosquito entrance as well as vermin. I had a rat in my room....somehow??? Floor boards are eaten by woodborer...a hole in one area, also a plank nailed/ screwed down, a wonderful trip hazard!! Near the bathroom entrance, a mat concealing the borer eaten floor boards. Novhooks in bathroom to hang clothes or towels. A particular odour, can't identify, but certainly not a fresh and truly clean, hygenic smell. I have taken videos and photo's of everything. One has to ask the owner each time you'd like some boiling water to make a cup of tea. No mug for such, simply a tall glass given and certainly not clean...dull on the inside, so I had to wash it prior to using it! All I can say is the owner was polite and friendly enough. But truly, and in my opinion, should NOT BE LISTED ON BOOKING.COM 2/10 would be my personal score. Besides, I also had to pay an additional $30.00 AUD to have a downstairs room....my knees, my problem, I do not find climbing stairs a pleasant experience.As I said, my problem. However, you'd think the owner would be more accomodating, especially as none of the 3 other rooms were occupied.?? Sorry, but this was my experience... :(
