Ian and Kate were spot on and just what we needed after a day of hiking and exploring. Friendly and approachable but gave us our space. Helpful with dinner ideas. They cooked a delicious made to order breakfast that left nothing to be desired. Highly recommend!

"Can’t fault The Old School House."

I arrived just after 8pm and was personally and kindly welcomed to The Old School House. After a long day’s walk, I was offered a drink, which was much appreciated. My bags were taken to my room, and I was given a tour of the property.Breakfast was homely and delicious, and I enjoyed meeting some lovely fellow guests. The place was immaculate, and the hosts were absolutely charming.I would definitely stay again and it was just what I needed after a 30-mile walk!

Quiet. 5/5 Clean. 5/5 Available parking. 5/5 Located conveniently. 5/5 Breakfast. 5/5 Hosts. 5/5 Proprietors Ian and Kate are very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast spread they put on is impressive (and delicious.) We visited from San Diego and their B&B was one of the highlights of our trip.
