Most of the staff were lovely & the room was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water.

Not much choice of beverages in the room. Some hot chocolate & instant coffee would have been appreciated. So too would have been some complementary biscuits. Choice of cereal was very poor. A choice in addition to sourdough bread would have been nice as the sourdough was hard & difficult to eat

Great food and great rooms. Parking available

They really need someone to man reception. After 3.5 hours drive, arrived and had to wait 20 mins for someone to come to reception. There is a phone you can use but they can’t come straight away because the bar staff are also the people that check you in so if they are busy in the bar there is a wait to be seen. I was tired and hungry with a restaurant reservation and it didn’t feel like the best start but other than that great stay!
