Nyhavn City Apartments

Very convenient location. Good shower

We did not enjoy: carrying heavy bags up four flights of stairs, bunk beds, using the kitchen sink to wash in, such a cramped space… We did not appreciate how small 25m square actually is. The main stairway is scruffy and dirty and the handrail broken and unsafe.

very centrally located. able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. tight but functional living with studio main room and extra room with 2 beds, perfect for our family of 4. minutes walk to nyvhan. easy self check in and out.

wish there were more trash bins- only one in kitchen

The apartment was about 20 minutes walk from Tivoli Gardens and a couple of minutes from Nyhavn. It was quiet and the beds were really comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The kettle wasn’t working properly. We would have liked a lock on the bathroom door.

The photos show a beautiful, spacious apartment, but in reality, the “mini suite” is a tiny student-style studio room, with the kitchen inside the bathroom, no separate living area, and a bunk bed passed off as a double bed! It has nothing to do with a real suite… On top of that, the same sink is used for both the kitchen and the bathroom: absolutely disgusting! We contacted the owner immediately to cancel, but she refused to help or cooperate, saying she didn’t want to lose the money, thinking she would not be able to re-rent it. Avoid this rental at all costs! It’s a complete scam, misrepresented just to take your money.

It was a very pleasant stay, great location, very kind host.

Only problem is that the building does not have an elevator, difficult access for people with limited mobility.

Clean and the beds were comfortable.

Not enough plates and glasses. The stairway was dirty and so also the road outside the building.

Location

Grubby, needed a throughly clean, coffee spilt down door frames. Toilet had fungus and dust at the back. Sink plug never been cleaned and overflow had black mould in the sink. Dishwasher was full of dirty pots.

Everything you need on 25m²! And a great location.

We didn't checked the decription of the beds, so we thought there was (also) a double bed, but it was kind of a bunk bed, but very good matrass! So if that's what you're expecting it is a great room and location!

The room was clean, comfortable, and smartly laid out—perfect for kicking back after a day out. The cleanliness was top-notch; everything felt fresh and pristine. The facilities were great, and the kitchen was handy for cooking. For our group of six, the bathroom setup was a lifesaver—having a separate toilet and shower made sharing so much easier. Honestly, I’ve stayed in other places for six people with just one bathroom, and it’s always a hassle, so this was a big win. The location is a standout: close to key tourist spots, just 500 meters from a Metro station, and a short walk to the waterfront near Nyhavn and Inderhavnsbroen. That riverside scene is incredible—lively, and such a treat to have so near!

It’s tough to nitpick, but a few small ideas for an even better stay. The bathroom drainage was a bit slow with strong water flow. The 500-meter Metro walk is no biggie, though it feels a touch less convenient with a suitcase over some brick paving path. The lower-level rooms have a low ceiling. Likely from the old building’s renovation vibe, you can hear upstairs footsteps a bit, and there’s no microwave in the kitchen—adding one would be a nice touch! No luggage storage either, but that’s minor.
