Granville House

Terri and Terry’s complementary talents — in the kitchen and throughout the house — combine to make this exactly what a bed-and-breakfast should be: a place of warmth, welcome, and relaxation. The decor is fabulous and whimsical, with nods to local history and the owners’ longtime passions for making others feel special. Bravo for the little touches that are beyond thoughtful: extra umbrellas and cushy socks at the entryway, a basket of insect repellent by the front door “just in case,” vinyl records and interesting books to borrow … and those olive oil muffins (IYKYK). We felt this was indeed a lucky — and lovely — find along our travels!

This was our second visit to Granville House. The place and service as fantastic as before. Everything was purrrfect and superb. This is becoming my “go to” place in the Berkshires.

We are repeat guests and choose this place for its exceptional quality, the warmest of hosts and location.

Breakfast was delicious and Granville House a delight! A pool table and a curated record collection you don't find often if ever. Sweet memories.

One of the best stays I’ve ever had. The entire home and experience are incredibly thoughtful and intentional, clearly curated with care by Terri & Terry. From the linen bedding to the filtered water served in glass (no microplastics), every detail felt considered. Each room is filled with books, records, and art that invite you to slow down and be present. The house was spotless, the breakfast was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and grounding. You’re still only 6–8 minutes from Butternut Mountain and the center of Great Barrington, which makes the location perfect, quiet and serene, yet close to everything. Can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back in the spring.

The hosts are very welcoming and engaging. The home is well located for easy access to the larger Great Barrington area.The home was been lovingly restored and decorated. The Christmas decorations were fabulous. Combined with the snow outside it made this stay truly magical. The facilities are good, you have access to a library of vinyl LP's and you can play them on the player in each room. There is a jukebox in the main lounge as well as pool table. Multiple fires. The room was spotless and well decorated. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was just fabulous - lots of hot water and a great pressure. The towels were thick and luxurious. The bead and linen were very comfortable.

Could have stayed longer!

Breakfast was great! The location was so convenient for us--near to many towns in the Berkshires. We loved playing pool in one of the sitting rooms. The Inn is one of the most interesting places I've visited in the Berkshires.

This was an absolutely lovely place and the owners were so welcoming. The location was right outside Great Barrington, very easy to find. The grounds were stunning---so New England and the snowfall made it look postcard perfect. Breakfast was exceptionally delicious. I will definitely return.
