The hotel is very comfortable and calming. The decoration is perfect. Seems like the owners thought about all the details.

Sofa bed in one of the bedrooms was uncomfortable. Pillows in that room were also uncomfortable.

This is an exceptional old house, filled with fascinating curios. There's a room devoted to mid-20th century popular music with original posters, and you're invited to take vinyl records up to your room to play on a turntable. No TV in the room, which for one night was a plus. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Despite the age of the house, a modern bathroom. Gorgeous breakfast, and we paid for an extra guest in town to join us. Best of all was Teri, the host, who was warm and welcoming and felt like a friend by the time we left.

It's quite expensive, but I can see why. People with mobility issues should note that there is no elevator.
