Great and very polited owner, near beach. Around property we had all we need (bakery, shops, caffee., restaurants..). Everyting was GREAT! Hardly wait to come again.

Very elegant & charming venue, decorations & rooms. Beautiful, classical style. The owners where very kind & gave us great tips of local dance entertainment that we would not have found otherwise. Overall the whole experience lived up to the expectations & exceeded with the friendly & helpful service.

The only minus we found is the doors are very old & makes a bit noise when opening & that disturbed us a bit when trying to sleep the first night while the neighbor came back & caused extra noise because of that. However the owners try to show each guest how to handle it & minimize noise when checking in so that’s good.

My stay at Portrait Boutique Guesthouse was absolutely wonderful. The hosts are very kind, attentive and accommodating and the house itself is simply gorgeous. You can see a lot of attention has gone into decorating this lovely place. Its location is perfect if you want to visit the city centre as well as the beach, both are about 2 kilometres away. Public transport is nearby and quite easy to navigate. There are several supermarkets in the vicinity, one of them right around the corner. Itks very easy to take the metro from the airport: line 5 takes you straight to Amistat station, but you will then have to walk for about 15 minutes (or alternatively, catch a bus to Avenida del Puerto). Then you’ll find the guesthouse at the far end of Calle de Leones, like a hidden green oasis in between all the tall buildings. I stayed in the Master Suite, which has a private bathroom with a hot tub (so so good!), airconditioning and a balcony. The room is very pleasant and the bathroom is large and comfortable. The other rooms have a shared bathroom. You’re free to use the kitchen which has everything you need, eg oven, microwave, coffeemaker, your own shelf in the refrigerator and cupboard etc. You can also relax in the garden or terrace and the living room. There are even books in several places if you’re looking for something to read. The wifi-connection is very good. Highly recommended!

Huge beautiful house. The host waited for our very late arrival and patiently took the time to welcome us. Good A/C in the room. Wish we could have stayed more.

Location was ideal so close to the beach and the old town as just off a main road which has great cycle lanes. Loved the freedom of access to a full kitchen where we could store food and cook whenever. The showers were amazing

Maybe a (plunge) pool?! But that’s being picky! With both the beach and public pool so close on the bikes it didn’t really put a mark against the place!

Our stay at the guest house in Valencia was amazing! It was so comfy, convenient, and chic. Katie and Leon really know how to make you feel welcome and think of every detail . We will dream of their house and Valencia for a long time.

We will try to book a bigger room next time :-).

The house was decorated very nicely and Katie and Leon were so welcoming. The rooms were comfy and had good AC.

The locks on doors were quite loud to open, and at times impossible for me to manage opening them at all. This was tough given that not all the rooms had private bathrooms.

The house was beautiful and comfortable and provided a great space for our large family gathering. Leon and Katie suggested a place to rent bikes and that made for fun adventures exploring the city.

The house itself is beautiful. It’s furnished and decorated so well. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Although it’s a shared bathroom I never had to wait for anyone else. It was always clean and well maintained
