Bard Cottage

Comfortable, cosy, well decorated cottage in a convenient location. Quiet and private it had everything you need need for a relaxing stay.

Bathroom could use a face-lift although everything worked fine.

Clean, cozy. Great location. Lots of personal touches. Good coffee, good kitchen for easy meals. Even an air fryer for convenience.

Hot tub drain leaked so it took a long time to fill. Was able to use it that night regardless, and we notified the host so hopefully that will be fixed for future guests.

De cottage kan zowel binnen als buiten heel wat verf gebruiken, badkamer zwaar verouderd, hottub heeft 2 uur nodig om te vullen, keuken slechts 2 kookplaten, geen vaatwasser, uitzicht bomen en bomen op 5-10m, rondweg goed hoorbaar etc.etc

An incredible cottage stay that we won’t forget. Comfortable & quiet with all the amenities, along with a hot spring fed spa!!! A true gem tucked into the trees in the mountainside. Highly recommend!

Shower was slightly outdated, but water temp and pressure made up for it. Bed mattresses mildly stiff.

Comfortable and warm

A clean and comfortable stay in a fabulous location. The scenery is amazing and the proximity to route 1 means that visiting places such as pingvellir is easy. The hot tub is wonderful. The area is so private and quiet that we slept better here than we have in years!

The cabin is absolutely perfect. The scenery is breathtaking and felt so homely with everything and more you could need for a perfect trip. The hosts were warm and welcoming and so helpful.
