Lady Bird Retreat

I loved the location - you can see the sea! There's a gorgeous beach in Skinningrove that I wasn't aware of. There's a toilet block that's easily missed down at the harbour. There's also a great pub/restaurant at the park gates that does fabulous gluten free meals. The hot tub was such a bonus along with the log burner.

Nothing to dislike! If I was being super picky I'd say maybe some new pillows but I'm really fussy about mine so I took one with me anyway.

We had a fantastic weekend away. The cosy hut had everything we needed and was spotless on arrival. It was warm, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it feel really homely. The hot tub was a real highlight — perfect for relaxing in the evenings and amazing for stargazing. The position is ideal, peaceful and perfectly situated for a quiet escape. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return!

Great little shepards hut with the bonus of a well maintained chemically hot tub . Cosy Large shower

Lack.of tlc . Mattress dipping in the middle roll into the middle . Bathroom sink too small. Mirror on window frame stops the blind closing fully . Plenty of little things need attention . Drawer under bed front coming off and obviously never been cleaned .. Mould around seal of the shower And crumbs and debris in small gaps that can't get to . We enjoyed a very relaxed week but a week is maybe too long here due to everything being at least a 30 min drive away. If you want a quiet escape to do nothing and visit nowhere its perfect 👌. We were very fortunate with the weather ... the same cannot be said for the neighbours . Obviously having a family party/celebration but very loud and screaming and shouting . Can't say anything of the staff as did not come into contact with any.

Great people, excellent facilities, superb views, cosy cabin, great hot tub.
