Back Bay Inn

Large bedroom and kitchenette.

No A/C, had to keep all windows open all night to try and cool the room. Small bathroom. No kitchen cleaning supplies other than a half roll of paper towels. Early morning noise due to the cafe at the end of rooms stocking up and prepping for their 11:00 am opening. Wednesday morning 4:30 am to 4:50 am a large truck, completely lit up and revving its engine and pump system, probably grease pumping the restaurant adjacent to the "garden rooms", ruined another nights sleep. The office personnel expressed surprise at the hot room and knew nothing about the deafening truck noise. Useless. We were charged $30 plus tax daily for our dog, no service of the room performed during our stay. If you travel with pets, or are not staying in one of their new rooms, I highly recommend avoiding this rip off hotel.

I like the facility next to the bay. I happened to stay in the older garden room.

You could hear everything that was going on in other peoples room. There was a dog barking in the room next to me. Not cool. The bathroom has a bandaid on the window. There was hair on the shower wall before I used it. The bed squeaks. Old room for what I paid.

The studio is on top of a wine tasting room and next to the local bar. Both restaurants were noisy. No microwave:(

It is a wonderful place for vacation or just relaxing with its location beside the bayside. Walkable and not far away from beaches. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious. It is a great small town with lots of restaurants around.

Great location and very quiet. Wonderful coffee and breakfast burrito at Natica Coffee. Pictures on Expedia showed ocean views, not the case for many of the rooms. Cobwebs in the room.

The property was nice. The garden room isn’t really looking onto a garden. It’s adjacent so that was a little bit disappointing. But the grounds are very lovely and taken care of nicely. Although my room did look out onto a dead hedge. I enjoyed that there were two cats that popped around every once in a while. The service was very good. Everything I needed was taken care of right away. The room I was in was showing some signs of aging. But I understand it’s hard to keep everything fresh when there’s so many people going through. I wish there’d been a microwave, but they didn’t have that and no kettle for tea in the room. But I could use the Keurig for hot water. All in all, it was a very pleasant place and I recommend staying there.
