Juma cottages

When we arrived the room was spotless. The host was a delight and welcomed us. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. We fully enjoyed our stay there!

There wasn’t anything not to like.

I stayed at Juma Cottages by Lake Toba, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff were all incredibly humble, welcoming, and accommodating, but Intan, the receptionist, truly stood out. She is such a warm and friendly person, always going the extra mile to ensure guests are comfortable. Intan was not only knowledgeable about the local area but also gave us excellent recommendations for things to do. One thing that really impressed me was her attention to detail—Juma Cottages doesn’t have universal charging sockets, but Intan personally went out of her way to purchase converters for guests. She lent them to us, which made our stay much more convenient. That’s the kind of service that made our time there so special. The cottages themselves are set in a stunning, scenic location, with a beautiful pool right next to Lake Toba. It’s so peaceful, with the soothing sound of birds chirping during the day. Honestly, it was hard to leave the cottage because it felt so tranquil and relaxing. The food at the cottage was delicious and reasonably priced, which was a nice bonus. As a small precaution, I’d recommend carrying mosquito repellent. While I personally didn’t experience many issues with mosquitoes during my stay, there were a few around, so it’s better to be prepared. Overall, Juma Cottages provided a truly memorable stay, and Intan’s exceptional service made it even better. Her warmth, helpfulness, and care for the guests really set the place apart. I highly recommend staying here!

The room and bathroom is so big.

The room was not facing the lake and no interesting view.

Friendly staffs who are always ready to help. Clean and comfortable place to stay. Enjoyed my stay here with my family. Beautiful view and pool too.

The room was large, bright, clean and functional rather than comfortable. The view from room and balcony was lovel. It had a large firm bed which I liked but my partner didn't. The hotel staff were delightful, friendly and helpful when asked. The likes certainly outweighed the dislikes

A new swimming pool was being built alongside the lake edge which really meant we were unable to access the lake and it rathyer spoilt the view too. I'm sure once completed the pool will enhance the property significantly and access to the lake will be returned. The room was basic, a tiny space for handing clothes, there are no cabinets or places to place clothing, there is no aircon in the room only one electric fan. The shower water was hot but poor pressure and the room was constantly invaded by mosquitoes.

The room is very clean.

The breakfast is not good.
