A lovely place to stay in a very safe neighbourhood and a great base for exploring the city on foot. A very friendly staff and host who cares a lot for the guests’ safety and is always on hand with plenty of useful tips and advice. The breakfast was also very delicious with fresh juices, huge omelettes and a selection of cereals and bread. We’d definitely come back anytime.

Cheviot Place was a wonderful place to start our stay in Cape Town. Brooke gave us a very warm welcome and communication throughout the booking and stay was flawless. The guesthouse is charming and very well located, within easy walking distance of the V&A Waterfront. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and generous, making for a perfect start to the day. A lovely place with genuine hospitality — highly recommended.
