Strathness House

Tiny bathroom, with a wall switch for shower outside the bathroom that we weren't informed of, even though many people can't figure it out. No effort to tell us, so had to get dressed, go downstairs 2 flights to find out. The hallways smelled of cooking spices. The coffee in the room was awful. Nothing much to recommend except the location which was near where we needed to be in the morning. Also, late breakfast unlike other hotels.

No parking not even space for 1 motercycle, Local parking has restrictions, no free parking.

Older house with restaurant on first floor. Perfect location to walk downtown Inverness. Beautiful view of river ness, castle and cathedral. You can park at cathedral. Room was decent size and clean. Would need a little update but all very clean. Breakfast was good

This place is awesome. Only issue was the shower. Impossible to adjust the water température. Cold as Artic, hot as Volcano.

Lovely views but not sure why breakfast not included for all guests . A bit pricy considering that

I had a lovely experience at this hotel. The staff were very accommodating.

From the Front Desk staff to the servers and waiters…everyone was very friendly, polite and professional. Nice room-simple and comfortable. The restaurant “Tiger on the Wall” was wonderful. We had Chicken Kormar (spelling?) and Curried Lamb. This was the best curry I have ever had…EVER.

This property is old with some cheap renos done so far. Could not get the shower to turn on and was worried to break something.

Nice staff and clean room. Excellent location. Near a long stay for parking. Did not get a chance to try the restaurant but looked good. Would have been a great view for breakfast on patio.
