Spacious Clean Easy to find Breakfast amazing and plenty of it

Nice location, good food. Clean room.

Bed not comfortable, lots of noise from the room above. Someone running back and for above us, plus barking dog. Breakfast was nice but I didn't realise there was no cooked breakfast.

The food was the saving grace of our stay. We had steak and lobster and was delicious, the chef was fantastic and had contacted me prior to our stay to liase about this. Room was a large size, and had a very modern nice shower.

First Impressions were very tired and run down, looked like it was closed (was 7pm on arrival) but eventually found our way to a bar downstairs. Very much a locals pub. Took a while to actually be shown our room and then came back down for a meal which we had booked however that also took time to be seated, despite there only being 2 other tables used. Our room was very tired and run down, panel hanging off AC unit therefore we were unable to use. The noise was loud from every angle. Noise from Bar down stairs, next door (both sides) may as well have been sat in our room, could hear conversations word for word. Then we had what we can only assume was a dog or very fast child in the flat above us, which was again VERY noisy. Breakfast didn't arrive until gone 9 (check out was 10) which was a very basic continental. Place had so much potential but it's in desperate need of a refresh! X

The room was spacious and clean and there was a sofa and tea/coffee making facility.

The room was really cold, as the radiator didn't work. The bed was very soft and uncomfortable for my back. The breakfast was inedible-dry bread and doughy pastries. I thought £110 for that was extortionate!

Mark, the Owner, was lovely, very helpful and friendly. The Captain's Suite with Balcony was sensational ! Beautifully warm and very very stylish with a huge bed and a huge bathroom as well. Just amazing and so so clean. The evening meal was delicious. Breakfast at 9am was delivered in a large hamper and was just excellent and covered everything we would need. Can't wait to return !

The food was not good. The noise from the bar was loud even though there were very few people in there and some of the language was foul. The breakfast was poor if you don't like continental
