The Breakfast hamper was more than expected , excellent and well presented in a chilled hamper The location was fine.

Peaceful and quiet area, bar and restaurant are excellent and the room we stayed in was great. Only five minutes from Minehead by car or you can catch the train from the west Somerset railway up to Minehead or if you wanted to go the other way to bishops lydyard.

Apart from the one night of noisy neighbours everything was fine but this is not the fault of the owners.

Breakfast was a picnic basket left outside our door at 9am(other places we have stayed breakfast was a hot buffet at least served from 7-9am) The area is a long sea front wih not one shop we had to drive 6miles to Minehead for a pint of milk!

Put a decent matress on the bed Put a shower in that a normal person could fit in and also make sure it doesnt just run very hot or scolding😡 Re paint the walls to freshen it up(the paint was peeling off in places) lower the prices in your Resteraunt they are too high £17 for a burger is extortionat for the quality you get

You could fit our whole flat (it is a small flat) in the Captain's suite, breakfast delivered to the door (which was delicious) and the food in the pub was to die for. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it here. The team were just as amazing and friendly.

There's absolutely nothing that we disliked about our stay here.

The food in bar area was nice but abit pricey Beautiful surroundings

Room was nothing like the pictures,most off the furniture needed replacing and not patching up The windows where permanently shut by expanding foam all round the windows and cracks in the walls Due to the bar area directly underneath us and with walls and the floor NOT sound proof we could here everyone's conversation clearly and didn't quiten down till after 12 Spoken to a few of the other guests staying and told us that there rooms where in poor state aswell When they say breakfast is included you think off cooked breakfast or cereal and toast not there They would a food basket outside of are room between 8-9 which you can see in the pictures Most mornings we barely touched it Would off been nice to be able to talk to a member off staff in the morning but there was never anyone about The place was not kept clean and tidy There was cobwebs everywhere in the main entrance plus in the rooms Me personally I think they to shut down and fix all the problems then reopen

The morning staff was very friendly, very welcoming,the location and the beautiful room, and the lovely man who shown us to our room. Very clean and spacious, good facilities.

A rude staff member working the evening shift she was a bit rude/ disrespectful for us asking how long food would after waiting 45/50 mins then she said to my fiancé well we didn’t start taking food order till 5 so sometimes soon in quite a rude voice when actually we had out order taken at 4:50 as to busy talking to other staff/ the children who came with her that she sat at the bar.

The location was great. Easy to travel to other destinations like Minehead and Watchet. Food was superb.
