The hole place was dirty and uncept our room had wall paper peeling of the walls tile coming away in the bathroom the shower was so hot it would of scolded you if used as no cold water would run .The room smelt damp and there was dust everywhere. The breakfast was just left outside the door of the room which was a awfully and when we left we could not find anyone to speak to as the place was all locked up.

Based on a two night stay. Large guest room. Bath and shower facilities ,although shower cubicle very small. Coffee maker with Kenco pods. Good cup of coffee. Two small bottled water each day. Fresh large bath towels each day. Large double bed. Large sofa. Close to promenade and beach.

Remote. If you did not eat at the Smugglers, or the small camp site cafeteria, then food is a good drive away. Restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday. General condition and upkeep of property very poor. (See my photos, pictures speak louder than words). Very poor hamper style breakfast which is not mentioned in room or facilities descriptions. No facility in room to sit and eat breakfast, table or chairs. Outside terrace is dirty and unkempt, it is not private and is shred with adjacent room. It overlooks beer garden. Cushions for terrace seating plied in communal entry hall. One of seats collapsed in centre. Main front door lock loose.

It was quite olde worldly from the outside, was very clean tidy inside , the room was very nice and all the staff friendly

Nothing really , I noticed the outside could do with a lick of paint , but generally all ok

Good host with good local knowledge, ample parking, huge bedroom with spa shower, separate toilet, coffee machine and hot chocolate, interesting place with lots of history, fantastic continental hamper breakfast which was accommodated early, on the sea front

Food was great. Breakfast hamper excellent.

Decor was tired but clean.

Suite was large and comfortable. Very quiet location. Did not know what to expect by way of breakfast as it was delivered outside the door in a hamper. However , the basket was packed with all sorts of goodies including pastries , fresh baked bread , yogurt , chees and ham and tasty apple juice and granola with fresh strawberries. Coffee was provided by a Tassimo machine with capsules which was a thoughtful addition.

Would have preferred a proper shower but the large bath with a shower attachment served its purpose. We were expecting for the time of year that the pub would have been busy but think that we were the only people staying. The outside of the property does need some attention and this may put some people off , but the accommodation was well decorated. Cannot comment on the food as we were visiting friends although the menu offered many choices.

Delightful bedroom, amazing bathroom, wonderful bedlinen, mini jammies dodger biscuits on the tea tray- 😀- best fish and chips in the bar.

Nothing we didn’t like, we knew we’d chosen an inn on the coast next to a very well run caravan park, not in a village . The great accommodation and food were faultless

Friendly staff, great sized clean accommodation with plenty of continental breakfast delivered in the morning. A must is to eat evening meal here the food was amazing
