Moonshine Resort Chumphon

Het was een sober onderkomen, maar prettig. Geen koelkast, wat maakt dat je bij het barretje wat ging drinken en met mensen in contact kwam. Ze hadden een goede, simpele keuken. Zwembad was goed, maar in mindere staat. Bedden zijn stevig.

Koelkastje ontbrak. Ook een laken, er lag wel een deken op het bed. In de buurt is niet veel te doen, weinig leven. In het mooie zwembad ontbraken veel tegeltjes.

Tout était bien, de plus la responsable parle français !!

The big room I moved to was ok (room with terrace) - large and clean. Facilities ok - drinks and food were very reasonably priced (quite cheap in fact) considering the captive market (see didn't like section).

Firstly the room I booked (a tent) was described as luxury and the pictures on booking.com showed a much larger tent. In reality the tent itself housed a small double bed with no more than 2 feet of space all round). Literally nowhere to put anything ! Approx 9m2 I would say and when in the conversation I mentioned the 16m2 quoted they told me this includes the large separate bathroom (you have to unzip the tent and leave to go to it). They moved me to a better bigger room though ! The resort though is 1) In the middle of nowhere, one expensive restaurant nearby and one roadside stall. The place is very very tired indeed - there has been little or no maintenance on the property or rooms/tents since I guess it opened ! See the pics of the pool, sun loungers, tiles etc. The plaque on the wall says 9.3 score booking/agoda 2020 - this is no doubt the last time they did any work on it 😬. It was once lovely I've got no doubt ! The beds are as hard as nails ! Even by Thai standards ! Timber base with I think a 5cm mattress topper on it !

die Toilettensituation hab ich nicht ganz verstanden, ob es nur ein Klo für alle Gäste gibt (waren aber auch nur kurz da, vllt hab ich es einfach übersehen)

Tente très agréable avec une piscine pour profiter du séjour. La clim fonctionne très bien. L’emplacement pour nous n’était pas un problème, car nous prenions le ferry le lendemain
