Herzegovina Lodges Boracko Jezero

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Herzegovina Lodges, and I must say, it exceeded all of ours expectations! From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Goga, Elmir and Mica were the most outstanding hosts. They were always available to assist with any request, providing top-notch local tips (for going swimming, having dinner, what to read) and general service with genuine hospitality. Lodges are nested right by the lake and their place has easy access to multiple beaches around the lake. We would recommend going there by car since there are so many beautiful places to visit in the area. We would also recommend staying there as long as possible since this is one of the most relaxing place we have visited. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Great and beautiful complex made by Elmir, who really put an extra effort into his "baby". He was amazing host who looked after us amazingly well, explained us lots of things about the area. Parking is free, beds were comfy

Slight disadvantage were the stairs to our Mostar apartment. Us as a young family could deal with it easily though. Another small thing was that place was out of water between 8pm till about midnight.

Fabulous setting, lovely lodge, great kitchen facilities. Welcome was very warm and friendly and owners willingly shared loads of useful information about the area as well as sharing their beautiful home. Well worth a visit.

WOW!!! Such a beautiful garden on a hillside with a swing, chairs, so many gorgeous flowers. Super relaxing! Chalet was a good size, real fire was amazing. The homemade cheese pancakes and vegetarian moussaka were INCREDIBLE. The hosts are WONDERFUL. After a hard day’s cycling, this was the perfect location. We wish we had stayed an extra day to see the lake and relax in the garden. We would definitely like to come back!!
