Albergo San Michele

The hotel is located close to the railway station and it is only a short walk off the Via Francigena. Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower was good and hot. The bed comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was adequate and there was no problem asking for a second cappuccino. There were no smoking signs in our room.

There were ashtrays on the walkway outside our room and someone smoked outside. We had cigarette smells wafting into our room through a ventilation window. Closing that window stopped the foul odour.

Great location as on Via Francigena. There was a secure courtyard so we were able to store our bikes with ease. The breakfast was very good.

The restaurant was exceptional. The owner and family very generous.

An excellent choice for those on the Via Francigena.

Ladies helping with breakfast were friendly.

This hotel advertised wifi in all the rooms, which i needed, but you could only pick it up outside or in the restaurant and even then it wasn't connected to the internet. The lady who checked us in was unfriendly and brushed me off rudely when I asked about the wifi. Although she did give us a ground floor room when she saw our trolley.

Quick checkin. Great location 1 block from train station. Had a/c that worked well.

Nothing

The room had been completely renovated. It was very large and had a separate sitting room with a couch and a desk. There was a very large bathtub which we enjoyed very much.
