La Limonaia Country House

Well equipped, large apartment. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from Siena. The owner was also very kind to give us a little tour of the farm and show our kid the farm animals.

The location was good. However, getting to the hotel requires driving through a dark dirt road. When it rains, the road becomes slippery and quite muddy

The bed was not comfortable at all, and we experienced some back pain after the stay. The bathroom is large but not very practical, and the door was difficult to close. This made it uncomfortable, as even the curtains didn’t help much. Additionally, we felt there was too much unnecessary furniture, making it difficult to move around the room comfortably. It gave the impression that the owner may not have stayed in these rooms themselves

The personal is very helpful and friendly.

We have booked a bigger apartament. Very impressive inside: rustical, based on wood furnitures, big, solid table. A lot of decor - lovely in every detail. Air conditioner was ready for our demands. Typical rural surrounding, quiet at night despite proximity of highway. Good breakfast available on demand served in a country style (however tricky to order at the first time). Fantastic home made limoncello and sweet wine offered in the reception for sale. Very friendly owner.

The shower cabin was not working in its best condition. Shared with the reception office outdoor recreation space caused a bit discomfort.
