Kasbah Izoran

very beautiful home that was built by Mustafa himself - so many handmade details and lot‘s of love inside those walls! we definitely recommend staying at Kasbah Izoran and visit Midelt - it is a beautiful small city and the nature / landscape around is incredible!

We had a wonderful stay at Kasbah Izoran! The proprietor and his family were very welcoming and kind. The proprietor turned out to be a very interesting and knowledgeable person, and one of the other guests (a historian) and I chatted with him for quite a while after a lovely dinner. The setting of the place is beautiful.

It’s in a beautiful setting just outside Midelt. Host was kind to provide dinner after a long day.

Extremely hospitable, perfect location to break up a drive between Merzouga and Fes.

Wfi could be stronger.

A very simple but comfortable accommodation, a bit removed from Midelt, but with a spectacular setting above the apple orchards and looking out on the mountains. It was like staying in someone's home.

We had a very small room, probably their smallest. As such, a double bed is all that fit, with a minuscule bathroom with the shower almost over the toilet (no separation). Other rooms are better.

Family operated Eco Lodge. Wonderful hosts and they served us a beautiful home cooked evening meal of organic home grown produce. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely outdoor sitting area to enjoy the view.

If you are traveling through Midelt, you have to stay at Kasbah Izoran. What a beautiful experience. It is nestled up on a hillside, far away from the hustle and bustle. Such peace and serenity. And this is just talking about the location. The owners are absolutely wonderful. Mustafa is incredibly smart and interesting to talk to. He is a kind and humble man, with good values and a good soul. We ate wonderful home cooked food out on the terrace with the beautiful view and sounds of nature. Thank you so much for the hospitality, we truly appreciate you for opening up your beautiful home to us.

Ein Traum

This was our favorite place to stay in our whole trip! The tranquil spot of this kasbah will delight you - huge orchards, a garden, canyone view. You'll enter and notice each detail is carefully thought out. The owner built the place himself. Make sure you take time to chat with Mustafah and his family as you will learn a lot about the area, farming, etc. We enjoyed homemade breakfast and dinner including local vegetables and meats. We also woke up early and walked the canyon in the morning. Simply a wonderful place to stay and a place we will always remember from our trip.
