Beautifully designed and constructed using traditional methods. Welcoming host and family.

The access road was dirt rather than tarmac, but can be travelled in a regular car or van with care.

The owner built the house himself. He was very welcoming, super interesting to talk to as is both well read and well travelled. You stay in a traditional Berber home with the family with meals served on site. Currently they are busy constructing a large restaurant next to the house which has stunning views! An ideal wedding reception venue!

There was nothing not to like. The rooms are basic, but comfortable.

The setting is very beautiful, with gardens, a lovely view of green mountains and a whole lot of cats. The dinner was nice, and it's served in a room with seating around the edges so that everyone faces the middle and ends up talking. That was very nice. The owner is a very chatty guy who speaks many languages fluently, so he gets everyone talking.

We chose this hotel as a place to stop to break up the long drive from Merzouga to Fes, as I believe many others do. It's a few kilometers off the main road, and the last bit is unpaved. It was fine, as we weren't in a hurry, but if you were looking for somewhere to arrive late or leave super early, it may not be your best choice. We were travelling with five people and always easily managed to make "family rooms" intended for four at other hotels work for us, but in this case, the room really is best suited to four people. We squeezed our youngest child (10) into the big bed with us, but I wouldn't recommend it to future readers with three children, as the bed is quite small.

Very friendly owner who gave me lots of information about the area. Very peaceful and quiet location on the side of a hill with mountain views. A lovely building. Had a great time meeting other guests.

The access road is a bit bumpy and its expensive compared to similar properties.

Wonderful and peaceful structure just 10 minutes of car outside of Midelt. The host Mustafa was super nice and kind, ready to help us in every way possible. We were also able to talk with him and learn a Little bit more about Morocco and its History while dining. The room was spacious and clean, the whole structure was built by Mustafa in recent years and has a very traditional touch. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, made with local products grown by the host and his family. We only stayed one night but everything was great and our stay really made us relax and recover energies to continue our trip in Morocco!
