Decent hotel, close to the bird sanctuary. Wld recommend them to serve breakfast as there's not much restaurants in small town.

Clean rooms!!! Great stay!!!

Scotland Neck is a very quaint town and our visit was personal due to the loss of a loved one. Staying at the hotel was a bright point given the circumstances in that the room was comfortable and although it does not offer many of the amenities we are accustomed (breakfast, business center and gym), the location is very clean, and the staff and owners were exceptionally friendly and personable. Specifically, we would like to highly recommend Scotland Neck Inn's Property Manager [Ms. Temeka (please excuse if misspelled)]. Ms. Temeka is a quality asset to the Hotel. She has a work ethic, insights and personality to further develop this establishment and likely will take Scotland Neck Inn to new and exciting heights. We have since this stay returned to the Hotel and we can confirm the above.

The Hotel is very clear on what it offers and does not offer, therefore, we had no complaints.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Some maintenance is needed on carpet.

I usually stay at this hotel to visit family and the bed is always comfortable, and it’s quiet.

This time I stayed I woke up to a bedbug biting my arm. It was almost 1:30 in the morning and I went to the front desk to see if I could get another room and the guy told me there weren’t any other rooms. I asked if I could get a refund and he said he could but there wasn’t anywhere else for me to stay at that time of night. He gave me new sheets and told me to come back in the morning for the refund. When I came back he said he would have to talk to the owner about giving me a refund and check the room for bugs, I told him I took pictures and he told me to come back later and he would call me. The assistant manager called me at 11:30 asking for the pictures and I hadn’t heard back from them for hours so I called back around 2 and they still hadn’t decided on the refund. So eventually I just drove back down there at 5 because it shouldn’t have taken so long to make a decision about what happened and the guy told me that he would only give me $50 back because they didn’t find anything in the room. I showed him the pictures and he tried to tell me that it WASNT a bedbug and that it was just a bug that was in season because of the weather change. I’ve never had this problem before but a simple google search will tell you that it was DEFINITELY a bedbug.
