Ocean Escape Condos

This is a no go!! The pictures are clearly not what they are offering

First it said we have oceanfront and it is not on the ocean! My family had a hard time finding it. Almost all night the person above us kept jumping which made it hard to sleep! This is way to expensive not to have peaceful stay! The main reason we booked here was because of oceanfront and I am very upset I would like my money back! There is not a phone in here to call to complain about the issue we have. The toilet kept running all night as well! I had to turn on YouTube to listen to the ocean! I could have stayed home for that amount for one night

The Ocean view was looking thru two dirty hotels. It had old mattresses and furniture thrown in between the hotels in front of the balcony in plain site. Area is run down and a lot of chairs in the bushes where we kept seeing people shooting up. We were scared to walk down to the parking lot at night.

Although the condo looks like the pictures it was not clean. It was dust and hair on the nightstand and under the sink. The dinning room table and floors was dirty and the air vents was filthy. The locks to the balcony was broke. The stay wasn't too good.

The room was very nice, very clean. The pools were horrible, very dirty, there weren't enough places to get rid of the sand. People get into the pools with sand and leave them dirty. The property says it's facing the sea, but it's not facing the ocean. The staff at the check-in was very rude. With a bad face😂. And the surroundings look abandoned, all old. I never give a review, but I hope this will help you in the future if you want to stay here.

The condos were clean.

The Landmark hotels, which is the franchise umbrella that ocean escapes condos falls under is a terrible company. Their staff has no idea what's going on, are zero help, and are basically just standing around. It boasts multiple pools, lazy rivers, hot tubs and water slides, BUT those amenities come from the combination of 4 different hotels- all which are incredibly dirty, and are a 5, 10, 15 and 30 minute walk from the condo. You need key cards to get into all the hotels garages, which, by staying at the condos, we do not have, so you have to pay to park at the closest beach entrance, or walk. We tried to explain to the front desk staff that we are staying at the condos, that are through the Landmark, which is their umbrella company, which gives us, as guests, full access to their pools, and we were told that it's news to them, but if we wanted to use their pool, we wouldn't get arrested because they don't care if we swim! All the hotels: the Landmark Hotel, Hotel Blue, Captain's Quarters and Crown Reef, are "ALL" badly in need of a face lift, are terribly staffed and a need a thorough cleaning. They are incredibly dirty. On a separate note, it's unfortunate to have to mention, that the area surrounding the condos and the Landmark Hotel is a hub for a large amount of homeless people and there was a great deal of drug dealers hanging in the corners of the adjacent streets. It was very obvious. Because of that, I was nervous about walking alone or allowing my kids to walk by themselves in the evening or early morning. They slept at many of the entrances to the beach, on benches and in the abandoned house behind the condo. The police were very present and sat directly in front of the condo most nights because of it. Something needs to be done about that situation. That is a vacation destination and people pay a lot of money to go there, and we deserve to feel safe.

I loved how clean everything was and how spacious it was

I hated that we weren’t told that the pool area was closed due to maintenance and tech issues and was closed the entire time we were there which is a huge reason we selected this location
