Pleasant Point Holiday Cottages

Once again Pleasant Point Cottage provided us with a great holiday and a break away from everything.

VERY CLEAN. EVERYTHING WE NEEDED

Lovely quiet cottage in working farm. Modern and well provisioned. We would certainly stay again.

A lovely well planned and set out cottage that, although compact, has everything you need. You really do need a car to stay here and there were no real options to walk anywhere from the property. Quite a few animals (dogs, chickens etc.) running about unchecked right outside the property and it’s also a bit of a building site with pipes sticking out the ground, bricks and loose slabs etc. so may not be ideal for everyone. As others have said the bathroom mirror is so high up on the bathroom wall it’s completely pointless to even have it. (At 5’7 I could barely even see the top of my head let alone my face.) There is a dishwasher and washing machine which is handy- dishwasher tablets were provided but no washing powder/ liquid. No views but I felt it was well priced for what it was.

The house was beautiful. The countryside was perfect. It reminded me of home. I'm not a fan of hotels...so this was very nice.

Had everything we needed

Advertised as pet friendly yet didn't have an enclosed area for dogs. Constant ground work with plant machinery working early in the morning til late evening even all weekend

House had everything we needed, location was great for exploring and the host was lovely.

It was pretty chilly inside when we arrived but it only took a couple of hours to warm up. The place would be even better if there was a fenced area for the dog 😊

Totally tranquil peaceful location cottage was spotless, best thing the dogs were welcome made for a good weekend away.

No complaints.

Good location, quiet, spacious, good internet.

The only thing was the bed was not particularly comfortable.
