Pleasant Point Holiday Cottages

Owner of the cottage was a very lovely person. Nice to have a peaceful getaway. Very beautiful area.

Lovely and clean, quiet location. We liked the animals especially the goats and horses! It was warm, very clean with plenty of seating and space.

Not sure that the posters around the property about checkout times and the expectations are strictly necessary. There were three in one room. We left the place spotless but felt like we were being told the expectations repeatedly. It would have been appreciated to have a pint of milk provided given the remote location. Or to have been made aware that there was no welcome pack (except for tea and coffee) as we would have appreciated being able to make a drink before heading to the shops. The house was spotlessly clean, but there was a ramekin of cigarette butts on the outside table by the front door which wasn’t very pleasant.

Fantastic property, very spacious and a lovely location. Lovely and clean. We had a great time.

Heating on a timer that didn't come on till midday so the mornings when first getting up were a bit cooler, and we were quite hot going to bed. But we never raised it with the owners as it didn't cause much of an issue.

Spacious and warm

The concrete slabs beneath the coffee table, very dangerous. Kept tripping on them or stubbing toes

Lovely little cottage. Quiet and peaceful. Well equipped .

Pity there was no view from the inside of the house or outside but was if you walked, great location then, bed was Bad, painful, we left 2 days sooner than we had booked due to a old hard mattress, pillows were very soft and dirty,doors, all, didn't close properly, one outside door didn't lock and the other badly fitted, difficulty opening/closing.very disappointing at not being able to let our dog off the lead as sheep very close to house

The house is wonderful in terms of size and facilities and location

Nothing (apart from some door handles being worn and getting stuck a couple of times in the living room).
