Pleasant Point Holiday Cottages

Was a great size place and was close to drive to places if need be in the highlands

There should be a fence if it’s pet friendly to separate from other units, that’s the only issue we found.

Totally great place to stay..

My daughter wasn't keen on the lounge door, but we swapped and it was fine. - Suggested warning stickers as the hot water is amazing (somebody is sure to complain about it) and the shower had two small leaks when used at full height (told the lady on departure about it and they will sort it). Basically nothing that won't be changed by the next time we return..

Location was excellent It gave us plenty of options to explore on the motorbikes

Spacious lounge, comfy sofas, comfy bed and good shower. Nicely decorated and plenty of kitchen facilities. Peaceful and pretty spot.

Some table mats to protect surfaces, a door mat on entry.

Open outlook inside. Safe and quiet location and everything catered for

Would have liked own enclosed small garden as I had dogs with me. I would suggest a mat in shower as can be slippy.

Dissatisfied that lock on main door didn't work. Proprietors advised that due to Covid/Brexit could not get part. Proprietors did not personally meet us throughout vacation, or take time to explain broken door situation. Rather a note was left pinned to door for everyone within vicinity to see that door did not lock. The proprietors advised in their note pinned to door that the area has zero crime. For the more security minded, like myself, I did not find this acceptable or reassuring. I do not know who is residing in the area or who resides in the other holiday let. The proprietors seemed to find it appropriate to suggest if it was felt necessary a chair could be placed against door. Not an option for visitors who want to leave cottage. We had to take high risk possessions with us during outings. The cottage should not be rented out without a secure lock to gain entry..Dissatisfied that lock on main door didn't work. Cottage was absolutely stunning. Everything we needed was available
