Pleasant Point Holiday Cottages

We enjoyed the spaciousness of the property and the location was very quiet. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Beds could have been upgraded. Ours was ok but friends was unsupportive and worn.

It's was brilliant

The cottage has enough room for 3 people, and it has everything you could need. The heaters provided are good enough to keep the cottage very warm, and the Wifi works well (considering that you are in the middle of the countryside!). The views outside the cottage are stunning and there is no city noise at all which is ideal for those like us who enjoy peace and quiet. It is not possible to access the beach or any walking tracks from the cottage, so you will need the car to go to the nearest beach or town (which is expected when you rent a place here).

We didn't know that the door to the cottage doesn't close which gives you the feeling of insecurity. I understand there is not any danger as it is a safe area (countryside) but still, for those of us who are used to having the doors locked at night, thinking about leaving it open gives a bit of anxiety, and I think this should be addressed by the owner in advance. We were three single individuals (no couples) so we needed the sofa bed to sleep, but this wasn't very comfy so I wouldn't suggest renting this place with the idea of using the sofa bed. Also, we didn't meet the owners and I think this is something very important that is getting lost over the last years (probably due to Covid) as owners now try to have no-contact with the guests. But I miss meeting the person who I am renting from and having someone showing me the property or explaining things that can be done around the place, such as naming places to visit.

Absolutely loved staying here. Nice and quiet and has everything you need for your stay. Very clean and would definitely stay here again. Dog friendly.

It was lovely and clean on our arrival. Lovely big shower. Kitchen was well equipped.

There was no mirror in the bedroom. The bathroom mirror was too high for me so I had to do my hair and make up in the lobby. The main door was sticky. I wasn’t very comfortable with the patio doors being left unlocked. The mattress was very soft for anybody with back problems.

A peaceful location and access to beautiful countryside. The accommodation was of a high standard and didn't disappoint.
